My name is Kaitlyn.
Middle name Rose.
FUN FACT: Technically you could put a Dr. in front of my name!
While I am not a medical doctor, I did receive my Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Duquesne University in 2015. I chose to major in pharmacy because I’m obsessed with subjects like organic chemistry, human anatomy and physiology, and biology – yes, I’m a nerd, I know 😉 But what I love most about these subjects is how they apply to things I do every day, such as how the foods that I eat can affect not just my weight and body composition but also my complexion, the health of my hair, and my overall well-being.
So I bet you are wondering, if I have my PharmD does that mean I am a pharmacist? Well, yes and no…
I had a pharmacist job offer (which came with a six-figure salary) locked down before graduation – at the age of 23! Before you think I am bragging, here’s the twist: just 2 years into “living” the life of a pharmacist I was running out the doors. Literally. I quit my retail pharmacy job because it was 100% the wrong career for me. I felt like a robot dispensing hundreds of prescriptions every day. I was not able to use my full potential to help people solve their problems.
Now, I teach others how to create a confident life through this blog. I write about my healthy habits such as mindfulness, self-care, organization, clean eating, finding an effective fitness routine, and skin care.
I also help entrepreneurs to achieve their business-related goals through my freelance writing services. In addition to being passionate about biology and chemistry in college, I also enjoyed my writing classes. Although I only took two semesters of college writing, I excelled in these courses due to my love for writing (and because my perfectionist tendencies would rarely allow me to get a grade lower than an A). I am passionate about what I do and I am devoted to helping you build a happy, confident life and business!
My mission is to help YOU build confidence, both inside and out, so you can get everything that you want out of life. My own personal journey with self-confidence has been a long one, but I’m very proud of what I have accomplished and the self-love and self-acceptance I now feel for myself. As always, though, I feel that I still have room to improve, so let’s do this TOGETHER!
